Today is a sad day in the Hip Hop community. One of my all time favorite's, Guru, has passed away at the age of 43 after a year long battle with cancer. As the duo called Gang Starr, Guru & DJ Premiere released six albums together and countless hits that include, Full Clip, Moment of Truth, The Militia, and one of my favorites - JFK 2 LAX. Gang Starr will never be forgotten as a part of Hip Hop's roots and as motivation through their timeless beats and inspiring lyrics.
