French burlesque meets Sweeney Todd” and “P.T. Barnum’s worst nightmare", Cirque Berzerk and their unique flavor of adult psychedelic steampunk vaudevillian tomfoolery returns to Los Angeles for an exclusive engagement, Thursday, June 18th-Sunday, July 5th, 2009(only on weekends). Cirque Berzerk will tickle your innards with a psychotically-tinged sultry evening filled with sinewy acrobats, sensual aerialists, gothic stilt walkers, fiery burlesque dancers and a host of punk rock clowns, none of whom know how to make cute balloon animals for the kiddies.
"Beneath," the production's theme, tells the story of a misunderstood girl who gets lured into the cabaret of the underworld through the art of acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, cabaret dancers, punk rock clowns, fire dancers, and psychedelic vaudvillian tomfoolerists.
