The King of Pop: RIP

There will never be another. No matter what you think of his private life or things he had been accused of, Michael Jackson will go down as one of the greatest artists that ever lived. One of his greatest performances was at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on March 25, 1983 for the MOTOWN: YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER concert. This was not only the birth of the moonwalk but also the coronation of an icon. Enjoy!

This move was called the backslide in the 50's and was done by a dance troupe on Soul Train in the late 70's. So not the birth of this move, just a renaming.
