Kogi Truck: East Meets West




I'm sure by now most of you know about the craze that is the Kogi bbq truck. If you don't know, now you will. The Kogi Truck is the brainchild of Mark Manguera, who has worked at numerous prestigious five star hotels in Los Angeles and achieved the title of Food and Beverage director before the age of 30. Mark has the pedigree of a world class restaurateur and has taken the taste of Korean BBQ and fused it with select spices to create some of the most unique and savory bites in LA. What makes their success even crazier, is that they pretty much exclusively use TWITTER, to let everyone know where they will be that day as the location of the truck switches hourly.

We were skeptical at first(it's just a taco!), but after the first bite we were hooked. So take our word for it, follow the truck and brave the lines and you will not be dissapointed. Maybe next time you will buy us one.
